EinScan Rigil v1.2 Update

The Complete Evolution, Performance Unleashed

EinScan Rigil, the world’s first Tri-Mode 3D scanner with built-in computing, wireless solution and hybrid light technology. EinScan Rigil offers a fully integrated and wireless 3D scanning high-effiency workflow and high quality data — making it an indispensable tool in the automotive industry.

After six months of continuous updates and research, the performance of the EinScan Rigil has been steadily improving. In the new year of 2026, we are bringing you a major update—Rigil will now deliver even greater value for money. Let’s take a look.

All-in-One scanning, evolved.
  • Multi-project alignment in standalone mode
  • Marker-free laser scanning in standalone mode
Performance +50%
  • 25+25 crossed laser lines
  • Parallel Laser Scanning: +60% Efficiency (PC Mode)
  • Marker-free Laser Scanning: +250% Efficiency (PC Mode)

First, Rigil’s performance increased by 50%, working efficiency will be elevated to next level!

In all three working modes, both hardware and software will now support 25+25 crossed laser lines. The significant increase in the number of laser lines means a dramatic rise in data per frame, with data acquisition reaching up to 35%. Using the new Rigil versions to scan the rear seat back shows that the 50-lines scanner captures data faster on flat surfaces, delivering more data points and a larger scanned area than the 38-lines version in less time and frames.

The increase in per-frame data volume also contributes to a smoother tracking experience, which is particularly noticeable when scanning large objects. For example, when scanning the side outer panel assembly, the total scanning time is reduced by 30% compared to the previous 19+19 crossed-lines setup.

Parallel lines’ scanning performance has been upgraded comprehensively

The scanning speed for parallel lines has been increased to 1.480.000 points/s, with the scanning efficiency improved by 60% compared to before. Combined with previous optimizations in tracking, data quality, and other aspects of parallel-line scanning, Rigil’s parallel-line mode now delivers the most efficient and high-quality detailed scanning among professional-grade scanners. This fast scan and detailed result of  fork crown on car frame is vividly demonstrating the capability.

Two major new functions in standalone mode make EinScan Rigil’s All-In-One laser scanning a completely renewed solution.

1. Standalone mode now supports marker-free laser scanning! This further enhances the flexibility and application scenarios of the all-in-one device. No computer, no markers, and no spray powder required—whether indoors or outdoors, it’s an excellent choice for scanning car parts and sculptures. An industry-leading hassle-free experience is now in your hands. For example, when scanning a car trunk framework—a scenario where narrow spaces and hard to stick markers make marker scan inefficient—the inherently markerfree laser scanning is now further enhanced. With optimized tracking and efficiency gains from this update, such tasks can be completed in just minutes

2. Multi-project alignment directly on the device.

Yes, no computer is needed, and you’re no longer limited to single-project scanning. Multiple scanning tasks can now be completed in one go on the device. The new standalone multi-project stitching supports three common alignment methods: auto marker alignment, manual marker alignment. We designed an intuitive split-screen UI and clear project list indicators allow you to easily review alignment results and the status of each sub-project. And this alignment result can be directly imported into a computer for further processing

250% Faster Markerless Laser Scanning Unlocked with PC Power

By leveraging the superior computing power of PCs, EXScan Rigil has achieved a breakthrough improvement in marker-free laser scanning speed—Taking this sculpture scan as an example, the object features highly complex curved surfaces and sharp internal angles. Achieving a complete 360-degree scan requires meticulous multi-angle coverage, optimized feature-based registration, and significantly enhanced capabilities—both in tracking large angular discontinuities and rapidly covering intricate surfaces—compared to previous versions. Overall scanning efficiency has improved by over 250%, enabling a full scan of this sculpture in under one minute.
